Race Exhibition Reflection

after the Race Exhibition at Cosi I operate myself expression at festinate in a much different way. I feel that the showing offered several dignified displays that re solelyy had opened my eyes to the whole concept of what pull re eithery is. From my experience at the exposition I retire that the idea of race is something that we as a society sack up soci completelyy constructed. Before attending this event I solid ground race mainly on the air of superstars discase. I feel that many of us (not just me) search on peoples race based on their uncase trick. However, after the showing at Cosi I realize that the color of ones skin is not link to to a specific race of people, but simply is related to the brashness of the sun in the area of the world where a congregation of people lived. Knowing someones skin color does not actually tell you anything about a person. Thus, basing ones race to their skin color is not right and is something that we as a society h ave constructed over many years. After looking at all of the displays throughout the exhibit on that point was one that really stood out to me. This display read that We all mold to talk and acquire accents from our families and the people around us.

They similarly instruct us what clothes to wear, what food to eat, what holidays to celebrate and what mien is separate in various situations. Who we are is largely dogged by these and other learned experiences. We are much more than the centerfield of our genes. This display truly had me thinking that we are not so different after all. In fact we are all very m uch alike. Who we are is determined from our! families and people we bodge ourselves with. Thus, race is something that actually does not exist. But something we have do up. Had we not socially constructed race, then race would have never existed.
